Practical Basic Life Support, AED and anaphylaxis training delivered at your GP practice. The session is adapted to your patient group, staff roles, rooms and emergency equipment.
Course content
Relevant to your workplace
Doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, reception staff and practice managers all have a part to play in an emergency. Training together allows the team to rehearse who calls for help, who brings the equipment and how care continues until the ambulance arrives.
Where appropriate, the instructor can work with your own AED and emergency equipment and run scenarios in the rooms where an incident could occur. If you have a recent concern or a particular learning need, it can be discussed before the session.
Every ACE instructor has at least 10 years’ paramedic experience and holds a valid Advanced Life Support certificate.

Course content draws on current Resuscitation Council UK principles and is designed to support CQC expectations for emergency readiness and regular staff training. It complements, rather than replaces, your practice risk assessment, policies and clinical governance.
Before you book
Yes. A combined session helps everyone understand their role, from recognising a problem and calling 999 to collecting equipment and supporting the clinical response.
Where appropriate, yes. Using familiar equipment can build confidence and reveal practical issues with access, layout or team roles before a real emergency.
Yes. Completion evidence can be provided for your practice training records. The course scope and certificate wording are confirmed when you book.
